Medical Bills - Tommy Mitchell

Tommy has been diagnosed with stage IV metastatic colon cancer at the age of 31 in May of 2014. He and his wife Brittany have one daughter, Emery.
Tommy had major surgery to remove the colon tumor and has finished the first round of chemotheraphy to shrink the liver tumor. Surgery to remove the liver tumor is scheduled for November and it will be followed by more chemotherapy.
While he does have medical insurance, it has a very high deductible and his surgery/treatment will span two insurance cycles, meaning he will have to meet the deductible twice. The Mitchells are faced with thousands of dollars in medical bills to cover scans, doctor visits, surgery, chemotherapy, and follow ups.
