My husband Tommy and I are Evergreen Acres Mini Farm.
We have a herd of Nigerian Dwarf Goats. We do have a Pygmy and a couple Lamanchas as part of our little herd. We have nine of our girls that are being milked by hand this year. We use that milk to make our handmade soaps which are a very large part of our farm business. We do sell the milk from our farm too. In order to increase our soap production and to have plenty of milk for farm sales and for our cheese and Soapmaking classes we need a milking machine. A milking machine will make it easier on us and on the girls and will be more efficient than hand milking. A quality milking system is a big investment that we are unable to obtain on our own.
