As we draw nearer to being able to lay little Ian to rest, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has so selflessly donated their time, money and services to our family. The process of burying a beloved son is so overwhelming, especially when trying to reintegrate from almost a year of being deployed. Without these funds we would not have been able to plan a funeral for our wonderful son Ian. We will never forget him, and we will never forget those that helped us honor him.
We would also like to thank the folks at GoFundMe.com for making all of the donations possible. The donation link will be closing soon, but can be found at http://www.gofundme.com/9c5yo4.
In the face of an unimaginable tragedy, the Blair family made the decision to donate Little Ian’s organs to help save the lives of many other children. Ian loved superheroes! With his final super power act – he used his little body to help life continue on for others.
Medical bills and funeral expenses are adding up quickly.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and for understanding the importance of privacy as they go through this time together.
Your donation is tax deductible and is sincerely appreciated.
“God has another angel in heaven as little 5 year old Ian Blair was called home yesterday. Jack was able to arrive in the states in time to be by his son’s bedside while he was administered last rights and say good-bye. Jack and Jennie are currently making arrangements for Ian’s funeral and ask for your continued prayers for the family during this very difficult time.”
