My name is Chad Brodrick and I am the pastor of Tecumseh First Assembly in Tecumseh Oklahoma. I also have the privledge of serving as the President of Ministerial Alliance and President of Tecumseh Together. I have had the opportunity to assist our local law enforcement and fire department with a variety of needs that have arisen throughout the years.
Recently I was made aware of a need that has prompted the Ministerial Alliance to mobilize a fundraising campaign.
Our local Fire Department responded to a high water rescue. While they were on the scene within a short period of time, they had to call in a watercraft from another department. That watercraft was being used at another scene and our department waited for over an hour to recieve assistance. Unfortunatly, the victim was not reached in time and perished.
This is a need that we can do something about. I have asked the local churches to recieve an offering to assist in our goal. I will also offer our community the opportunity to donate. Would you assist us in making sure that our Department has the equipment it needs to assist our community?
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to purchase the boat and the necessary equipment. Currently our Department has already begun the training to prepare themselves for when the watercraft arrives. As they do their part, lets do ours!
