Help raise money for schools in Uganda

In June I will be travelling to Uganda for 8 weeks with the small charity Volunteer Uganda, I will be working as a teacher in one of many local schools they support in the Bwindi region. 
I have saved the money to pay for the trip myself, however Volunteer Uganda asks that volunteers fundraise to make a donation towards equipment and educational resources for the schools, as the charity is small and relatively unknown it relies heavily on these donations for funding.
Any donations made would be greatly appreciated by myself and the organisation and would help fund the great educational work the charity is doing in schools and with the HIV/Aids awareness and prevention programme that they run.
