Mabelvale Middle School Choir

The Mabelvale Middle School Choir has been selected to perform at the historic Carnegie Hall in New York City, New York. The student group is seeking donations for the trip in hopes of making this dream a reality.
The Mabelvale Middle School Vocal Music Department is made up of four choirs: Sixth Grade Beginning Choir, 7th/8th Grade Female Choir, 7th/8th Grade Concert Choir, and the Mabelvale Select Ensemble which is an auditioned group. The choirs have consistently received Division I Superior Ratings for their performances in the American Choral Director Association Competitions, as well as Division I Sight Singing Ratings. This year, after many auditioned, Mabelvale had fourteen students selected to participate in the Central All Region Choir. Of those fourteen students, three were in the top five. This trip will be a fun and exciting experience for our choir students but the educational aspect supersedes all others. The students will work with professional conductors and singers as well as attend master classes that will enhance their individual vocal abilities.
Currently, the trip is set to take place March 26-30, 2015. All payments and proceeds directly impact the Mabelvale Choir Program.
