Crescent Park Straight A's Club

Three years ago Officer Gary Lewis started a "Straight A's Club" with youth in Crescent Park Housing Community to help promote academic improvement among the youth living there. Youth do not need to have Straight A's to participate, but they do need to turn in their quarterly report cards, and show academic progress, improved attendance, and good behavior on the property to be eligible for summer excursions. Over 70 youth are enrolled in the program. This year's summer excursions planned are UC Berkeley, Stanford, and more. Your help will assist with the cost of transportation, meals and backpacks for the back to school kick off. All funds raised go directly to the Straight A's Club. Please share and spread the word to those you know, and if you know any companies, public figures or bloggers that will repost this, please forward it a long.  If we don't make our goal by July 12th, all the funds are refunded. Help invest in our youth.
