91 Carriage: SilverStripe Host

Hello,
I'm Simon. I'm a developer that uses SilverStripe and understand just how powerful it can be. However, I also understand that it has some fairly powerful hosting requirements.
That's where 91 Carriage will come in. 91 Carriage will be a hosting platform specifically designed to host SilverStripe sites and to be damn good at it. It will aim to offer a low cost, low contention shared hosting option as well as more powerful options for those that need them.
The features implemented will be driven by what people want in a host. Some of the features I've currently got planned include allowing you to pick between PHP versions, including HHVM; picking the web server (Nginx or Apache); picking the database engine (MySQL or Postgres); SSL support and a range of others.
Building something of this scale is a lot of work. To make it worse, my development machine is coming up on 5 years old and is rather tired. This is where you come in.
To build this, I really need a new development machine. To be able to regularily work on it instead of other projects, I need to be generating income from it. While it will eventually be built without any additional funding, it will take a lot longer to even reach an alpha stage.
I'm asking for AUD$10,000 as a base amount. This covers four things:
* A new development machine that should last me another 5 years if it needs to.
* Two weeks worth of my development time. This won't be two consecutive weeks, as I do still have a (part time) job, but will allow me to focus solely on developing 91 Carriage outside of that.
* A designer. For the site to be of a high quality, you don't want me designing it. I will hire a local designer to help with it.
* Assorted fees and taxes.
Anything that I get in funding over this amount will be split between more development time for me, more time for the designer and fees. If I get a massive amount more funding than I'm expecting, I may even be able to hire another developer. They will require more lawyer fees too to make sure I've got the right sort of business for that.
