The Sanctuary was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy in October. We are struggling to keep the animals fed and also pay for all the supplies needed for repairs. People are donating their time to help cut up trees, repair fences and clean up. There is so much to do this is an on going event. Once winter hits hard we will have to wait until spring but we could be buying wire fence, wood posts, metal posts and other supplies with your help. Anything metal is expensive! Please donate any amount helps!

I am raising money for rescued alpacas, llamas and hoping to add rescued sheep and fiber goats.

Faerie-Tale Fiber Farm (Faerie-Tale Alpacas) has been in business since 2000. Over the years, we have rescued many unwanted, special needs, old, unable to produce or abused alpacas. Many of these animals are not sellable/adoptable and I have promised them forever homes, at a safe farm that gives love and care. Until 3 years ago, these alpacas have been supported by the proceeds from FTA and out of my pocket. Due to the resession, my husband's heart attack, loss of job, unemployment ending, unfunded care of my grand girls for a year and the drop in prices of alpacas the farm is in financial trouble. We are phasing out FTA to concentrate on the Sanctuary. We need help to provide care for these animals and to add fencing and shelter to take in more needy animals. We recently took in 2 llamas. (One is fairly old, sway backed and has a roman nose.)  If we can not get help we will be forced to turn the animals over to another probably over burdened rescue group. Please help us save these animals.

The money collected will go towards feed, hay (we owe $1,000.00), shelter, medical supplies, vet bills (we owe $5,000.00), teeth care, shearing, fencing and care of rescued animals. These are bills for the rescued animals and NOT from FTA's alpacas and sheep.

Donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated!

Supporters can help by volunteering time (located in Upper Middle Bucks County, PA) or the following supplies:

Alpaca/Llama Chute

Hay/Alpaca Feed

Wormer Medication/Disposable Syringes

Feed Bowels

Lightweight Panels

Used Spinning Wheel/Drum Carder

Alpaca/Llama/Sheep Coats ~ All sizes
