Family & Friends of Lida Kienle hope that you will take a few moments to read about our fundraiser.
On April 15,2014 Lida Kienle (formally of Toms River)of Beachwood N.J She
suffered traumatic brain injury due to a bacterial infection in her lungs. This caused her lungs to fill with fluid and drastically decreased her oxygen in her bloodstream, which made her heart try to compensate for it and then she stopped breathing because her heart gave out. She died at the doctors office. But they continued to do CPR until medics arrived and shocked her back to life. This occurred 2 more times on the way to the hospital. She was without oxygen for 5minutes which caused brain cells to die and was in a coma for a week. She now has cognitive impairment and needs physical & occupational therapy but no money to pay for it or the hospital bills. This condition is known as ARDS ....otherwise known as Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. Medical bill are starting to be a financial struggle for her family.

On August 3, 2014 Family & Friends of Lida Kienle will be hosting a Pasta Lunch & Silent auction fundraiser from 12-4 at Midtown Pizza located In Dover Plaza in So. Toms River. Tickets for the event will be $20.00 per person. DJ Big Ben will be there. We will also have door prizes.
