Alpine Fire - Barnes Family
Donation protected
My brothers and sisters of the canine world and to our fans who have been following us. Today one of our former handlers, Dan Barnes, and retired canine “Red” were victimized by the Alpine Fire. Dan was working in his yard unaware of a fast moving brush fire approaching his house. When Dan looked back at his house, he saw it was fully engulfed with flames. Dan quickly took action and was able to escape the fire with only his family and Red. Dan and his family are left with only the clothes on their backs and the car they used to escape.
The San Diego County Canine Association has pledged to assist Dan and his family in their recovery from this devastating event. A GOFUND me account has been created and donations can also be made by visiting our website at WWW.SDCK9A.ORG. When donating from the website, please indicate the donation is for the Dan Barnes Family Relief Fund. 100% of donations collected for Dan and his family will go directly to them.
Thank you for your charity and support.
