Launching CreateIt~LiveIt: Services for women struggling to regain their confidence, sense of self, and control over their futures and finances after a life-altering event or illness.

My name is Abby and I am a 3-time cancer survivor.

One of my biggest takeaways from my cancer story is the struggle we face to reinvent ourselves, create a new normal, because we can’t just go back to the way things were. We must push through and go forward. Turns out for many, surviving the cancer is easier in the long run than finding a way to accept the changes it brings and truly live and thrive again.

The structured support available to those going through cancer is luckily readily available. However some of the most impactful effects come after the rallying support has died down with an expectation from friends, family, and society that the survivor is now ‘fine’. After reaping the benefit of so much support during their cancer ‘battle’, survivors often feel that they owe it to those that have helped them to be indeed ‘fine’ and no longer need any assistance. In fact, many survivors believe that if they can successfully navigate cancer they should be able to successfully navigate beyond it.

The dire need for structured services to assist in the transition from survivor to thriver at a point one to five years post treatment is finally starting to gain attention. This is where my passion lies, as I myself am one who would have benefited beyond measure from such support.

For many, the time missed from work has created job loss, depleted financial reserves, and seen the stress of a life-threatening illness replaced with the stress of financial instability. These are the people I wish to help.

CreateIt~LiveIt will provide sliding scale services, workshops, webinars, e-pamphlets and workbooks aimed specifically at women who have experienced a life-changing event and are trying to regain their confidence, sense of self, and control over their futures. Guidance and accountability, tools and understanding, action and result will be the foundation.

My qualifications to provide these services rest on my 20+ years as a career, business, life and change coach/consultant coupled with my personal experience as a three-time cancer survivor, divorcee, mother, and survivor of the tragic loss of my soul-mate of 25 years. I am quoted as saying;
