Thank you for visiting my donation page, I truly appreciate your time!
For those of you who may or may not know about the charity, I have decided to provide everyone with a platform where they can have a more detailed description as well as, donate to help out those little darlings!
Established as a nonprofit organization, Ingrid Education Centre was perched to afford care and support for the vulnerable community members of Matopeni, targeting extremely poor households unable to meet high educational demands for their children. As I have chosen to fundraise for Ingrid Education Centre (IEC), we are determined to go that extra mile to see that these children are are educated, cared for and protected from the cruelty in society, fed, clothed and that in the near future those without a roof over their head will be accommodated in a place they call home!
Since 2005, the school has benefitted more than 500 children through nursery and primary education for children aged between 3 and 11 who come from extremely financially challenged households. IEC helps children from poor households to access basic education and an opportunity to have a brighter future for themselves and their households. The school provides children with school uniforms which include shoes, stationery and one daily meal for older children and two daily meals for younger children (breakfast and lunch). This takes care of the health component of the children and probably which the children would be deficient in their households.
