I, Garice Tate, am writing to you on behalf of our Brothers. The 25th Anniversary of the Million Man, that will take place in Washington D.C. on October 10,2015. The purpose of this trip is to get our young men of Richmond California a chance to leave the state for first time while partaking in other activities and educational advances,. Also this will give our young men from different sectors of our community a chance to spend time learning and understanding each other. Many of our Brothers have been at odds with each other for decades for reasons unknown, this experience will give them the unique opportunity to bridge the gap in a more diplomatic fashion. The Million Man march will bring Black Men from all over the country all to the Capitol while giving our kids an opportunity to learn to love themselves , love their fellow brother and get back a sense of what it is to be a decent Man in this society. We are looking for donations of any amount to offset the cost of travel, hotel, transportation and miscellaneous expenditures. We truly believe a educational experience of this multitude will impact our community in a positive way for years to come. Your donation will bring us closer to our goal of $10,000. Many business and community leaders are on board as well as hundreds of individuals. Our community is clearly excited and eager to see this project succeed.
