Hi! My name is Lily and I have a dream.
I am currently an Event and Hospitality Management double major with a minor in Mass Communication at the University of Central Florida. I am fortunate to attend UCF, however I am even more fortunate to attend a school with great study abroad programs!
For as long as I can remember I have always dreamt of studying abroad in England. England has been my first choice because of my appreciation to its history, culture and most especially to its people. Before I even got into UCF, I knew the Hospitality Exchange at the University of Surrey, Guildford, U.K. would be the perfect study abroad program for me.
After all my hard work and dedication, I applied for the study abroad program and I got accepted! I am really blessed to have been offered with this kind of opportunity. However, for me to be able to explore such a lifetime opportunity, it is necessary for me to find and gather the funds for my educational study abroad program to England. If I am unable to acquire the funds for the trip, my dream will then be put aside as well as my efforts. Now, I only got eight months in order to raise the money that will enable me to pursue my dream to study abroad and I sincerely need your heartfelt help.
My study abroad program will be in Spring 2015. Every amount you will offer will honestly count. And more, I will surely appreciate not just each single penny, but I will be grateful for your kind thoughts and most especially your support in making my dream come true.
You might be my family, my friends, my acquaintances, my mentors, my colleagues, or anybody else with a warm, open heart.
