For those of you who ordered a t-shirt I am picking up the order in the morning. So we will be getting them out to you this week. Thanks for being patient.
Also if you haven't already heard. LeAnn is coming home on Friday! Thank God
I just wanted to let everyone that I talked to Lele last night. She had caught ecoli so she had a few bad days. She is better now. She told me that they have told her she should be able to go home from rehab on July 11th. Hopefully she'll be able to come home then. If I hear anything else I will let you guys know.
I have some awesome news. Lele has been discharged from KMC. She is on her way to Downey, California for some rehab. Not sure how long she'll be there. I'm just thanking God everyday that she is still with us. Thank you everyone who has been donating, with food, money or other ways. It is very much appreciated. Please continue to pray for her and keep our family in your thoughts especially, her, her parents and sister. Also her boyfriend Devin who has stayed by her side.
Ok I have an update from her Mom. They did her surgery yesterday. She did fine during the back surgery. They put the rod in her spine. They did say that they couldn't do anything with the spinal cord. Which means unfortunately she is paralyzed from waist down. She is in tremendous pain. They said hopefully today they will get it under control. So thank you to everyone that is praying and helping out. We appreciate it all very much.
Sorry about the update being so late. We have all been very busy all day. She did have a set back over the weekend. She is feeling better today. My son, Josh, Visited with her for 2 or 3 hrs today. He said she talked his ears off. They are planning on doing back surgery on Mon or Tues. Like I said before things change so don't be surprised if this surgery is rescheduled again. She is doing better, but please keep praying. God wants her here on this earth for a reason we might not now why right now. We will find out eventually. I'm just glad they are BOTH still here!! Thanks everyone for your donations. Every penny is appreciated!!!

They moved Leann Harris out of ICU to the step up DOU. That means out of critical stable to stable. One day at a time family and friends.
Again thank you for the dinners and thoughts and prayers also the donations for. Thank you.
Tonight's update is going to be very short since I already posted Jeff's post from his Fb. She had a great day today. She's not completely healed by any means. She did talk to me and she is asking everyone what happened. She doesn't know anything yet. The tubes are out of her throat. She's breathing on her own w/o problems so far. I can maybe get some sleep tonight knowing she had such a great day!! I'll give tomorrows update at night again. Unless Jeff or Mary ask me to post anything before that.
Ok tonights update, finally. Today in the morning she was even more awake than when I saw here last night. She was really upset and agitated so they had to sedate her again. Just so she doesn't injure herself anymore. The ventilator didn't come out but they did do surgery. They put a screen in to help keep her from getting blood clots in her legs. Please keep the prayers coming. This girl & her sis are both like daughters to me. Thank goodness I have the websites and flyers to keep me busy. It's keeping me from losing it!! LOL
I'm just waiting for Mary to call me with tonights update. As soon as I talk to her I will post it. Everyone please feel free to invite anyone and everyone to like her Fb page. Also, if you have pics you would like to post on Fb please do. I'm doing this for her to see when she feels better. If your not able to post a pic let me know and I'll post it for you. Thanks everyone
Ok my update for today is that they did surgery on her arm. She did ok during surgery. She is starting to wake up & respond a little when you talk to her. I saw her right before I left & when I talked to her she would shake her head or open her eyes just a little.
Tomorrow they are planning on trying to take the ventilator out. Notice I said try.
She is still a very sick woman. To me she's still a baby so that never sounds right to me. LOL
When I find out anything tomorrow I will update everyone as soon as I can. Also, we are able to put cards up into her room now. If you would like to send a card either drop it by the hospital or you can mail it to me & I will take them up with me as I get them. Just message me & I will give you my address. Let's keep the prayers going. I believe they are working. Thanks everyone.
Ok so I'm calling it a night guys. Tomorrow she is scheduled for surgery on her broken left arm. They don't give us a time but as soon as I know something I will update. I added a couple of pics just for fun. keep praying please!!
Ok, my update for the day. There is not a lot to update at the moment. Some of us are up here just to support Mary, Jeff & Bre. The next thing that is scheduled to happen is the surgery on her arm on Monday. We all have to keep in mind that things change from day to day but for today that's all I can update at the moment.
She is out of surgery, and it went well. They were able to complete the first step of closing her up. The inside layer is closed and they started a little bit on the outside layer.
They did have to remove a very small part of her pancreas, but he said it was a very small piece.
On Monday she is scheduled to have surgery on her broke arm. I will update on anything I hear when I hear it. Let's keep the prayers going.
Breanna from the beginning started using #TeamStrong for her sis. So let's keep that going for her. I have her helping with drawing stickers etc.. to help her keep her mind busy & also because she wants to help too.
This page was created for my beautiful little cousins LeAnn & her little sister Breanna. As most of you know they were involved in that very serious accident on Hwy 65 & Merle Haggard Dr. in Bakersfield, Ca on Monday April 21st, 2014. They were hit by a drunk driver while pumping gas. I created this page to help get support for our family who is living at the hospital. She is going to need a lot of support when she finally pulls through all of this. Her status right now is cridical condition, she has not woke up. They have had her medically paralized from the neck down because of her moving her arms around too much. I believe they are slowly weaning her off that though. The Drs have told us that she will never walk again. So everyone please let's get some help for the Harris' family while they are going through such a difficult time. Let's keep praying for her to have a full and swift recovery. Thank you so much. Also, please don't forget to like her page, LeAnn "Lil Redneck" Harris on Facebook. #TeamLeleStrong
