Help send EK Home

Twelve years ago, Eun Kyoung (EK) left her home and family in South Korea. She travelled halfway across the world to the United States, to marry and spend the rest of her life with the man of her dreams. John was in the United States armed forces when he met EK in her native country. EK and John were quickly married and decided to start a family. They were blessed with their son Andy on May 26, 2004. Within months after Andy's birth, they discovered that he was having multiple infantile spasm seizures daily. They spent endless hours having tests done to try and figure out why, and what could be done to stop them. Years went by, and the tests continued. John was deployed in two tours to Iraq after Andy was born. Despite the fact of EK being in an unfamilar country, she managed to take excellent care of Andy in his absence. John left the Army in 2008 and they relocated to be near his family. Andy has multiple disabilities with mobility, communication, eating, learning, and uncontrolled seizures. Doctors have never been able to give Andy a diagnosis. Due to this, EK has never returned to South Korea, even when her father passed a few years ago. She could never justify spending money on herself, when it could be used to help her son. After 12 years, she really misses her mom and family. She feels John and her wonderful support group of family and friends, would be able to care for Andy if she goes home. By raising money for her plane ticket, it will help her justify taking this trip. Please help us send EK to see her family in South Korea. She is an amazing mother, devoted wife, wonderful friend, shows kindness to everyone, and deserves this so much.
