The Situation:
Hey y'all! My name is Phillis. You may better know me as yr_goth_mom or any number of nicknames.
I've recently been graciously gifted a trip home to Georgia as an anniversary trip with my amazing girlfriend Trillian (pictured with me above)! However, even though I've been in Seattle for a little while now, most of my valuables & personal possessions are still there in Georgia!
I want to take this rare opportunity to finally recover said belongings & finally complete my move here. Unfortunately, shipping &/or driving that much stuff is VERY expensive. I would love to finally close this chapter of my life & ease the burden of steadily increasing monthly storage payments, so that I can finally focus more of my resources on building my wonderful new life here in Seattle!
The reason for the amount, & time frame:
Not only is moving cross-country (2600 miles!) very expensive on its own, but scheduling this trip coincided with me suddenly losing my job. However, the dates are set in stone, so I'm also temporarily in dire need of help with my living expenses, in addition to travel expenses that may come up along the way. On top of that, gofundme charges significant fees on larger amounts.
I will be in Atlanta September 11th through the 19th, so this is somewhat time-sensitive.
