I'm a 21 year old artist in the Chicagoland area hoping to make it to DashCon to sell in the Artist Alley. I've been accepted but there's a few snags: namely, I'm too poor to fund this alone!
I work a single minimum wage part-time job and live on my own; I have difficulties just making sure I have enough for rent and bills, so there's no way I'm going to be able to save up on my own with only a few more months to go.
That's where you come in!
Donating to this fund will help ensure I can not only pay my share for the hotel room and feed myself, but also pay to get necessary items for my booth and merchandise to sell.
I'm looking forward to selling buttons, posters, and (most of all) prints. Mixed in with those expenses are buying racks for my merch, a banner, a tablecloth, food, and the hotel room.
Any money not spent on the above will go towards unplanned expenses or buying extras, and any merchandise I don't sell at the con will be sold afterwards online.
