Raising for domestic violence redemption

As many of you know I have been doing my practicum position at HOR, working with women who have been in iminent danger. Before I go onto grad school for abuse counseling, I have had this rare opportunity to walk beside my women (some soon to be mothers) and their precious children, loving on them, training them in life skills and therapy groups on topics like empowerment and self love. To those that provided donations and prayer and support, my women felt cherished and loved on as they sought to learn to treasure themselves, by taking care of themselves. My heart continues to be overwhelmed as I am able to directly distribute the gifts to the ladies and to see the impact. When I began my work here, I prayed over my time, that Jesus would take me where my trust is with out borders and use my where He can. Sometimes that means touching millions, sometimes that means holding the hand of one. I believe that Jesus puts certain people in our path as the ones that we are responsible for, to pour into and to come along side as He reveals the need. I have felt that call on my heart in sort of a desperate way as particular opportunities have arisen to me very specifically. There is a need that I have opened my heart to, to see how Jesus will use me and this is one of the steps I am taking towards it. I didnt know that I would put this out there but I want to open it up whether it's just in general prayer or the raising of funds....even 5dollars at a time. I didnt originally really have an amount, I dont have an expectation, I just have been called to respond to deperation, whatever that might look like, I know Jesus is screaming for me to respond. If it doesnt happen in this way,no worries, there is no loss because God will redeem it in another way, as I have been called to invest in this situation. This is for someone Jesus put in my path and for the one that I havent met yet. This is for redemption.
