Dear Friends,
I am a sophomore at Tesseract School. Tesseract is a small school in Paradise Valley, Arizona. I go to and love this school, and I want to help unite, strengthen our bonds, and generally create a better community for the school and its students with the Be Kind Week. Be Kind Week will happen the week of May 5th throught May 9th. We need to raise $500 for materials, and all your donations will go toward funding the project in this small school full of great people!
Be Kind Week is a positive anti-bullying campaign that aims to strengthen the sense of community in a small school driven by interactions between its students and to positively promote kindness instead of negativity to eliminate bullying.
Be Kind Week is an opportunity to make a difference in our communities, but I need your help in making it possible.
Be Kind Week consists of a full week of kindness. During this week, every day's activities are assigned to a different grade. On each day, there are to be no insults traded between people in the grade assigned to that day. There will be Be Kind Week shirts given to everyone within the grade whose day it is.There will be Be Kind Week posters placed on people's lockers and people are to go and write compliments to the person or person's grade who's locker it is.There will be two to three people within each grade who actively seek out and compliment people on there locker posters. The week will end with a small assembly to commend everyone for being kind and to encourage them to continue their kindness after the week.
We need to raise $500 to buy the materials necessary for Be Kind Week. If funded, Be Kind Week will take place on the week of the May 5th through May 9th. I am confident that this project will positively battle bullying and help create a stronger community within Tesseract School.
