Ludwig's Vet Bill

Hello!
This is my cat, Ludwig and I. I rescued him from being killed as a kitten, and we've been two peas in a pod since. Because I'm away from college, the distance between us has given me a lot of anxiety - as well as him. He's my best friend, and a wonderful cat.
Recently Ludwig has had surgery to remove ribbon from his stomach. During the surgery they found that he also has liver and kidney damage. My family and I dearly care about our pets, but this sudden medical issue is putting lots of anxiety on us for paying a large vet bill including the surgery, vet stays, and medications. Being in college, I cannot put much toward his bill and it breaks my heart not being able to give to the pet that gave so much to me.
Anything helps, and is very much appreciated.
