Hello, my name is Khaliyah Malloy. I am currently a student at Penn State University. In my spare time I do volunteer work, dancing, poetry, listening to music, yoga, and hula hooping.
I want to do volunteer work in Dharamsala, India for Cross-Cultural Solutions in May 2015. It would cost me $3,839 to do so. As a volunteer in Dharamsala, India I will be working with lower neighborhoods in efforts to support children's education and women's rights. This would be an amazing opportunity.
Volunteer work means a lot to me. It is my dream to become a professional humanitarian and lead a strong career working toward important efforts. The impact that volunteers can have on India is absolutely amazing. It would mean everything in the world to me if I were able to travel to India in order to start doing volunteer work abroad.
Also, all volunteers on this trip are encouraged to wear traditional garb. If you would like to donate traditional clothing for my trip, please let me know.
