Paddle Home: Paddling the Mississippi

This summer, along with 3 friends, I will be paddling down the ENTIRE Mississippi river and building houses for Habitat for Humanity in 10 cities along the way.  We will be camping on the banks of the Mississippi River for about 70 days, as we make our way from Lake Itasca Minnesota all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico.  Those of you who know me know that a trip like this has always been a dream of mine.

I need some help to be able to afford this trip.  Though I already have most of the gear I'll need, I still need a kayak, and I plan to put together a really good first aid kit (you know because I'm the one that's trained to do first aid on people) plus I would like to eat some food along the way, and at the end I would like to have some money to donate to whichever Habitat for Humanity that we work for and find to be the most in need.  So If you have a few dollars to spare please donate it to my cause and I will make sure it is put to good use, not to mention you will be helping make a dream of mine come true, which I would appreciate forever.
