Special Spaces Room For Riley Mozingo

Riley's journey began May 14, 2010. Riley was a normal loving sweet little baby. One day she started falling down and walking into walls. I took her to two different pediatricians and I was told she pulled a muscle. This rarely happens to children her age and they said it should be better within a week. I waited a week and it was worse. We took Riley to two different orthopedic doctors for testing. The second doctor referred us to a neurologist at Children's Hospital. However it was scheduled for two months away. I called every single day asking for a cancellation appointment. When we finally got an appointment, we were told it would take two weeks to inform us of the results. However, two hours later they called us back into a little room to show us the MRI. We were immediately admitted into hospital. My body went numb. All I remember next was a nurse taking my hand and asking me if she could call someone for me. Riley had her first surgery a week later. Due to the type and size of her brain tumors we were sent to St.Jude Children's Research Hospital. We continue to do scans every three months to monitor the tumor. This is Riley's story. Riley has been chosen by Special Spaces to receive a bedroom make over! As a community let's stand together and give this little girl the bedroom of her dreams!
