Medical Supplies in Guatemala
Donation protected
I'm heading to Guatemala this Saturday, October 15th, and will be visiting this non-profit hospital near Lake Atitlan. They have a wish list of items to allow them to provide and I know I will have extra room in my suitcase to bring them supplies. This hospital is legitimate; I am also visiting them for business since I work in the international healthcare industry.
We can make a HUGE difference.
I would like to go shopping and stuff my suitcase with any supplies on their wish list. I will pack as light as possible so I can bring them as much as I can. I will go shopping Friday, October 14th, before I leave. I will take lots of pictures to document everything :-)
Would you please consider donating? Even if it's just $5.
Please read about Hospitalito Atitlan here!
For any money that I raise after I leave, I will either buy extra supplies there or I will donate monetarily for the visits mentioned below.
$15 = Trauma treatment in the ER
$25 = Eight childhood asthma treatments
$50 = Monthly diabetes medicine for five (5) patients.
$100 = Medical checkups for 25 people.
