Digital Sculpture Artist needs your help

I was since the age of 5 always fascinated about cartoons, pencilsketches and artwork. It didn't take long for me to pick up the pencil and started sketching till this day! Growing up loving 3d animations and special VFX I dedicated my life to become one of those artists I admire and saw on TV.
Not by chance I rolled into the 3d industry as a product designer but my heart will always be with character/creature modeling.
The last few years you must have heard of it...3d printing, nowadays is rapidly making it's way AS the new technology, we can create ideas and bring them to "life"!
To make a long story short, I'm a freelance digital 3d artist and my dream is to create not only digital sculptures as the dragon you see below (it's a realistic render of a sculpture I made in the computer) but also to make a real customized statue people can collect, admire on their office desks or as a bust hanging on the wall, HANDPAINTED and one of a kind, a true limited edition.
The bottom line, I want to sell ART as in modern art, if possible for and with the buyer, create stunning and unique designs. From concept design to painted figure/object statue... and for that I NEED A 3D PRINTER.

Unfortunately the price of high resolution 3d printers are still very high. There are however affordable printers with great quality output that are almost within my reach, that's why I need your help.
But first!
The making of a unique, one of a kind statue!
At first there's an idea, you or you and I together can visualize that thing you had in mind for years (wich can be anything from figures, objects, trophies etc). Now you want it to be real, sitting on your nightstand , desk or as decoration on the wall, you name it! There's the sketch as you can see below, in this case it's an figure.
After the concept phase is finished and you found what you have always been looking for the 3d modeling part begins. This is what your statue will look like once it's finished. It can be any size you want, this is also the part where you can determine color if wished.
Now the fun part! Once the model has been approved by the creator, which is you/us we can print de model in the high resolution 3d printer funded on Indiegogo.
When finished I can start painting the model (if wished) as in the original 3d concept and display it as a piece of art it is.
