Help the PSC!

Dear Friends,
I am asking you to consider making a small contribution to the amount of money I've recently donated ($100) to the Saint Louis Palestine Solidarity Committee, to which I've belonged since fall 2008.
I'd love to have many people make a contribution of $4.00--consider forgoing 1 delicious, large latte or a potent triple shot of espresso (from Northwest Coffee, Cafe Ventana, RISE, La Dolce Vita, Coffee Cartel, Meshuggah's or wherever you and I have met up at some point in the last few years) to contribute to our work this year (described below).
One other thing: By mid-summer, my book will be out: Dear Layla/Welcome to Palestine.
Thanks for giving even 1 minute of thought to this request.
Namaste forever,
Mark Chmiel
2013 was a stunning year for the STL-PSC! Our committee played a vital role in the local Dump Veolia coalition that stopped French multinational Veolia from gaining a city water contract (we objected to its nefarious role in profiting from Israel's illegal occupation of Palestinian land). In addition, STL-PSC sent two of our members on a Health and Human Rights delegation this past summer in Palestine.
Internationally, the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement continues to attain victories and influence mainstream discourse. In 2014, STL-PSC plans to build on past campaigns by continuing to support the move for church divestment, particularly in the Presbyterian Church this summer. We will also continue to work with our legislators to oppose the Visa Waiver bill that codifies discrimination against Arab-Americans.
Your contribution can help us move boldly in this direction! Thank you for your consideration and generosity!
