Lunch for a Month:
LNKC is a non-profit, UK based organization with a simple mission and a huge impact. We run a chain of bakeries in North Korea which are used to provide school lunches to North Korean kindergarten and elementary school aged children every day.
Love North Korean Children exists to provide nutritional support and stability to the children of the DPRK. Through the daily delivery of bread and regular classroom visits, we strive to bring an end to the malnutrition and starvation of North Korean children. It is estimated that nearly 20,000 North Korean children die from malnutrition and starvation every year, this is currently the same number of North Korean children fed through our bakeries.
Founded in 2001 with the first bakery officially opening in 2003, we have now opened 5 bakeries, employ 75 North Korean women to bake the bread, and feed over 20,000 children every day.
A donation of $5 (5,000 KRW) will sponsor a North Korean child's lunch for an entire month. Our continued growth and success relies on generous donations from our sponsors and community.

LNKC was created after George Rhee went to China and North Korea in 2001 and witnessed, first hand, the extreme poverty and malnutrition existing in the cities and towns he visited. He quickly got to work founding UK Manna Mission of UK, and the organization Love North Korean Children. Today the project to feed the children of North Korea is as strong as ever, with offices in the UK and Seoul, we are looking forward to a year of growth and possibilities.
