hello! my name is alyson byrne. ever since i could talk, i sang. ever since i could comprehend what college was, berklee college of music has been my dream. as a 10 year old i could not wrap my mind around going to school just for music. it was too good to be true. when i found out i got accepted, it felt like every second of hard work and dedication i put into mastering my craft suddenly paid off. music is the only thing that resonates and makes sense to me. i've been singing my entire life. i did chorus all four years of high school. freshman year of high school i decided to pick up jazz bass, along with being in concert band and (my favorite) marching band. through those activities i learned so many lessons, not just how to be a better musician, but how to work with people, trust them, and all reach for the same goal. i got to travel with my school to different music competitions and festivals. i knew this is what i wanted for my life. i want to explore each and every element of music. i want to learn how to produce and work in a studio, i want to learn about music business, and especially music therapy. i got to participate in a berklee 5 week summer program and my heart has been stuck there ever since. berklee became home after that. finically, it's a bit of a reach and every penny can help. thank you for taking the time i read this.
