K9 Investment Support Society, Inc.

The K9 Investment Support Society, Inc. is a new non-profit organization based in Simpsonville, SC. Founder and CEO Kimberly Rollag decided to start the group when she heard about Simpsonville's new K9 unit. "The K9 Investment Support Society's mission is to raise funds to support local K9 units with ballistic vests, tactical gear and training. Local law enforcement usually doesn't have much funding for their K9 units and must rely on the support of their communities."
K9 Investment Support Society was born of Ms. Rollag's love of dogs, shepherds in particular. Having grown up in a law enforcement family she has always been supportive of K9 units. She had heard of other organizations around the country that have a similar mission, but there was nothing in the Upstate that could provide the support Simpsonville's K9 unit needs. "I was aware of the need for ballistic and stab proof vests for K9 police dogs and after reading several articles about a few brave K9s that have given their lives to protect their handlers and communities I felt a need to give area K9 units the support they so desperately need."
