Back in 2008, Angela and a friend were taking a stroll in Prescott, AZ. They were both HIT by a passing truck going 65mph and were thrown 40 ft. He didn't stop. TWO hours went by before someone saw them!
Angela has had extensive medical treatments already, but she still does not have good use of her arm and has been unable to go back to work or live a semi-normal life.
She has seen many doctors in the Phoenix area, but none of them are specialists in what is wrong with her. Here's the medical jargon regarding Bracial Plexus:
When you have damage to your bracial plexus you either "cut" them or "stretch" them. Minor injuries may get better on their own, but severe bracial plexus injuries (which is what she has) require surgical repair. This summarizes what is wrong with her arm only. She has some other issues with her shoulder that these specialists need to look at.
The specialists Angela needs to see are in Minnesota. Angela is already in 15k of debt and is paying 1k a month for her insurance. The money I am trying to raise here for her is to help get her to Minnesota (plane fare, hotel, food, etc.)
