Help Philip recover from stolen lens

Donation protected
Hi,
I'm Philip Martin, the guy who took nearly a $1000 financial loss in returning a stolen camera lens. Recently named in the PetaPixel article "Lenstag recovers its first item", the long version of the story is within the article.

To be concise, I bought a Tamron 24-70 lens on Craigslist which I soon discovered to be stolen by searching its serial #. I contacted the equipment registry site (Lenstag) and the founder Trevor Sehrer (pictured with me) coordinated the return of the lens to its rightful owner.

The article states that I am out nearly $1,000 but, in the interest of full disclosure, I paid closer to $900 for the lens.
Through the incredible generosity of a few individuals, I am already a good way toward being financially whole.

I have participated in crowdfunding before with Kickstarter/Indiegogo, but never thought I'd find myself on the receiving end... yet here I am.

While I absolutely can use and appreciate any financial contributions you may make, something I need just as much are referrals to working stock/ wedding/ fashion photographers in Los Angeles. I would be quite happy to earn that lost money back through a few days of hard work as a 2nd shooter or photo assistant.

Any help is appreciated... thank you so much for your time.
Philip Samuel Martin

Ps. any inquiries about purchasing photo prints from my website (http://psmphoto.com) to help finance my recovery can be addressed via private message.
