Australia Missions Trip.

First thing, thank you SO much for visiting my page! A lot of you have heard from me on this opportunity already, but I am trying to get it out there as much as possible!
As a lot of you know, over the past couple years I've had the opportunity to attend 5 mission trips to Haiti with my home church. Now I am finishing my second year at SAGU and I have another life changing opportunity to travel for TWO MONTHS this summer through school. I have been accepted to go on a trip going to Perth, Australia! A much different part of the world! I believe that God is stretching me concerning my heart for ministry and discipleship and this is another huge step in the process.
Australia is much like the United States when it comes to their spiritual condition. Australia is 69.5% Christian. One of the greatest battles facing the Australian church is the debate with secular materialists. Most debates center around the topics of human origin, human sexuality, and the existence of God. While we are in Perth, we will have some unique ministry opportunities. We will be assisting a church plant, Oceans Church (www.oceanschurch.com) We will minister face-to-face through the discipleship of the youth in the church and help reach out to the surrounding area. This will involve encounters with the community around Oceans Church. We will be coming alongside Oceans Church to strengthen their influence in their area and discipleship within the body. Because of the length of our trip, we are also looking at spending around two weeks in the Outback working with an Aboriginal tribe! The tribes there are still very spiritual and cut off from society"”they have not assimilated well into the communities and have such a need for the church to reach out! We can minister to the tribe alongside the church while learning about a completely different culture. We also recently found out that we will have the opportunity to travel to different churches in the Perth area as well as some different schools to speak with students on the topic of IDENTITY though our own testimonies! Our levels of opportunity are opening up more every day.
I am truly excited to be a part of expanding God's Kingdom worldwide! This trip is two months long! The beginning of June to the beginning of August. I am asking you to join me in this journey through finances and prayer. This trip is going to cost about $4,300 total. The good news is that as of our last financial update last week. I am up to $1,739!! Not quite half, but getting closer Now... We are in crunch time! We MUST have $2,000 in order to get plane tickets and they HAVE to be purchased by Friday APRIL 4th! Therefore Donations need to be in by April 3rd! That's this coming week, guys. I am so close!!
My involvement in this trip can be made very possible with your help! Anything that you would donate to this ministry is appreciated! Please considering giving if you are able, NO amount is too small. I understand that some people cannot afford to financially support, but more than anything, I would appreciate your prayer support as the team and I continue this amazing journey to serve the people in Australia.
