Help Rhaeme get a new car!

A friend of mine has been having a really tough time, lately.
He's been needing a car badly to get to where he's going, and he had about 900$ saved up for one.
Today, he actually managed to buy one- but unfortunately, the car was actually a piece of crap, and not five minutes after he had paid the guy who sold it to him, it overheated and broke down.
He tried to get the money back, but the guy has been dodging him. He called the cops and they said they wouldn't do anything about it. Since he bought the car from a private seller, there's not much he can do to get his money back at this point, so he's out quite a bit of cash and a vehicle.
He's been having tons of trouble trying to get and keep a reliable vehicle, and I really care about him, and I think he deserves to have safe, reliable transportation.
He doesn't need anything super fancy or anything with low mileage even - but I would like for him to be able to get something that will help him get back and forth to work and wherever else he wants and needs to go without worrying about the thing breaking down on the freeway.
If you can help - even a dollar, it would be majorly appreciated! Rhame is a good person and he really deserves a break. Please help to get him a reliable car!
