Eternal NOW by WHITE WAVE DANCE at BAM

Tax deductible
Dear White Wave Supporter,

Thank you for your support and encouragement throughout the years. The last 18 months have been an amazing ride "“ from the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy we rose to organize our three festivals (the DUMBO Dance Festival, the WAVE RISING Series, and the CoolNY Dance Festival that showcased the work of over 145 dance companies with a total of around 500 performers) and we were accepted as a participant in the BAM Professional Development Program, a tremendous honor. We would not have been able to overcome the effects of Hurricane Sandy and participate in BAM PDP if it weren't for your support. Thank You!

Over the past year, we have been working with BAM and the DeVos Institute for Arts Management (Kennedy Center) towards strengthening our strategies for development and continuing our growth as a dynamic organization. It has been an honor to learn from such great organizations.

To celebrate our experience, WHITE WAVE Young Soon Kim Dance Company will premiere its newest work "Eternal NOW" at the BAM Fisher Theater from June 19 "“ 22, 2014.

A multi-media dance/theater piece and the fourth and final chapter of a series Kim began in 2010, "Eternal NOW" reveals the secret longings of utterly human stories. Dancers interact with scenes of lusciously composed images and edited footage by video artist, Kate Freer, playing on widescreen monitors, as composer Marco Cappelli performs an original score live. The expression of movement perpetually affirms the now, in space and time, as it reveals the inner landscape of human emotion. The result is a compelling, deeply sensual work that exemplifies the remarkable versatility of its performers and the choreographic virtuosity of its maker.

To make our Eternal Now performances at BAM a success we are appealing for your support in two ways: One, please help spread the word of our performance dates to your family and friends, and Two, please make a tax-deductible donation to help us raise the money necessary to create the stunning performance that you have to come to expect from us.

So, please SHARE and CONTRIBUTE.

Come see the show June 19-22 and be a part of our incredible journey in 2014!!

Warm wishes and many thanks,
Young Soon Kim, the dancers, and the Board of WHITE WAVE
