Support Free Concerts in Brookline!

Tax deductible
The BLMA needs your help to continue our concerts!
The BLMA is one of the oldest library music organizations in the country. We have been offering free concerts in Brookline's beautiful library since December 1951, when the Radcliffe Choral Society trekked from Cambridge through a snow storm to deliver the very first performance! Joan Baez was a featured performer in the early 1960s, and many fine artists have entertained our audiences since.

While our concerts are free to the public, we need to raise money to pay our performers, tune the Steinway and cover printing costs. We are a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization, all volunteer-run, and we receive no funding from the Brookline Public Library. Our member and community support has dwindled in recent years, so we need friends and music lovers to help us keep this grand tradition going.

Thanks for any help you can offer, and visit our concert page at the Library web site for information about our 64th season of presenting free music in the Library (NEC Piano Prep students, pictured above, performed on April 12, 2015) :
