IAMWE Spring 2018 Showcase

I.AM.WE Dance Company was founded in 2009 by Dominique Atwood & Sankara McCain on the campus of Howard University. The name I.AM.WE stands for, "I am who you are, you are me, and together we are one." Our mission is to uplift, empower, and inspire one another, and the community, through the art form of dance.  I.AM.WE. focuses on the mental, spiritual, and emotional aspects of dance in order to bring healing and hope to both the dancers and audience. We take our motto from the words of Booker T. Washington: "We can be as separate as the fingers, yet as one as the hand."

Our past Spring dance concerts have been well-received by Howard University students and the extended community in the DMV area, drawing crowds of over 100 people.  In order for us to produce the best shoawcase possible in 2018, we need your help. Your generous donations will help us secure an on-campus venue, as well as cover costs associated with promotion and showday expenses.  
 
We are proud of our accomplishments and you can be proud too, knowing you are contributing to this important event. We invite corporate sponsors, small businesses, and foundations to contribute at the Platinum, Double Platinum or Title Sponsor levels. But we would also appreciate your donation of $100, $25, $10 or whatever you feel you can afford to help I.AM.WE continue to enrich students and our community.   Every penny helps!!
