SRG is very excited to have recently entered into our 9th season as Springfield's premiere, flat-track, all-female, WFTDA-sanctioned (Women's Flat Track Derby Association) roller derby league. The league is owned, managed, and operated "by and for" the skaters, meaning that not only do we play in roller derby bouts in an effort to increase our rankings within WFTDA, SRG also works hard to stay active in the local community, through fundraising events, and largely, through volunteer efforts. We strongly believe that in a community such as Springfield, it is important for sports leagues, for-profit businesses, and non-profits alike to establish mutually cooperative relationships in order to reach and benefit as many community members as possible.
