In Memory of Katelyn Taylor

Katelyn Taylor was a compassionate, smart, loving 19 year old girl from Tasmania, Australia. After moving to the Sunshine Coast in Australia to pursue a primary school teaching degree at university, Katelyn tradically passed away on the 16th of March in the rugged Sunshine Coast sea.

Katelyn's family and friends describe her as having a 'gorgeous smile' and a 'bubbly personality' some wonderful traits that will be sorely missed.

One of Katelyn's friends made an open Facebook group for all her family and friends to remember her by, there are 800+ people involved already. Katelyn's death affected a whole community (Launceston,TAS)

The following piece was copied into this message because I thought it was something special:
"Those nights when the skies are clear we shall look up and see a bright new shining star. May it shine as bright as your smile did to light up a room Katelyn and light up the sky like the moon. RIP gorgeous young lady. It was a privilege to meet you. My love and thoughts go out to her family."

We all have a fair idea of the costs of funerals and other expenses involved. All money donated to this fund will go directly to Katelyn's parents Craig and Gaylene to cover these costs and to further help Katelyn's two younger sisters Bridie and Chloe with anything they need.

Please take the time to donate anything small or big if you're a primary school teacher, if you're a friend of Katelyn's or simply if you've been touched by this story. No amount of money will bring Katelyn back but at least it'll help her loving family.
