Caring for RescuedElephants at BLES

All of the money raised will go to the program costs of spending roughly 2 weeks (hopefully more!) at Boon Lott's Elephant Sanctuary (BLES) inThailand. Please remember that a large portion of this cost is actually a donation to the sanctuary. During my time there, I will be working with rescued elephants who have previously been abused as performers or who spent their lives being ridden on as tourist attractions. One of the great things about BLES is that at any given time, there will only be a maximum of 6 visitors there which allows for plenty of one on one time with the elephants. This project means the world to me because I believe all animals belong in their natural habitats and it would be a dream come true to be involved in making their lives happier in a sanctuary. If given the opportunity, I will also use this experience to continue to advocate for the well-being of elephants in the wild and those who are still in captivity.
