Why We're Raising Funds: Make Music is a free all-day festival that occurs every year. Free to attend, free to participate in, and open to all. This past June, the city of Portland rang in the Summer Solstice with the first ever Make Music Portland. Musicians of all styles and abilities took to the streets to fill the city with sound and celebration.
We had such an amazing turnout for our first year and we are excited to continue growing not only Make Music Portland as an event, but also as a community.
Make Music Portland is for you; the musicians, the residents, the tourists, and most importantly, the city. It is about celebrating our community, through music and collaboration, and that is why we want to make it the best that it can be.
All funds secured go directly to the event; covering the costs of materials, marketing, permits, and insurance.

How It Works: We will have 30 days to raise $1,200, if at 30 days we have not reached our goal, we do not receive the money and your credit card is not charged. If we reach $1,200 in 30 days, we receive the funding that you have graciously donated.
