Feathers Fund in Memory of Charlie
Donation protected
On January 29, 2017, Charlie Feathers Jr lost his 3 year battle with congestive heart failure.
He left behind his wife of 30 years, 5 children, 3 grandchildren and an unborn grandchild.
Charlie's life was about family. Even after disability took away his ability to work, he found ways to continue to provide while the rest of us worked toward financial independence.
I hate to admit how much we still relied on his SSI income to keep the lights on and the bills paid... This last year seemed to contain one blow after another.
As a family, we're determined to stand together but must ask for help to pay bills, feed the 6 of us who live in the family home and begin the process of building a life without our hero and heart.
If you can help support us, we'd like to give back. Future updates will include items we would like to make for those who contribute to choose from... There's knitting, crochet, sewing, sculpting, and a t-shirt project to choose from. We do not want to have hands out without also giving in return.
Charlie's legacy is one of generosity, love and humor. We hope to honor him by carrying on in the same manner.
