The cashier who was shot in Spotsylvania on Saturday, March 8, 2014 is going to need facial reconstruction surgery. (More than one.) She does have a husband and children. Her income helped supplement the household income to pay bills and take care of her children. With... her not working while recovering and her husband having to help care for her, there will a financial burden on them. I do not know Kelly personally, but was in the store a few times a week, as her customer. Kelly was always so nice to her customers and just generally sweet.
As a community, I can't imagine not doing something to help her. If every person who has heard about this terrible event in her life, gave $1, we would be able to alleviate some worries for them. I am asking the local community to come together and ensure her that her road to recovery, while may be long, is not alone! We are with her and we stand behind her with our hearts open and our prayers helping her move forward.

April 5th, location to be decided. 10 am to 4 pm. We will have a bouncy house, door prizes, music, hot dogs and who knows what else. Stop by and donate and give her your well wishes. We will have a wishing well onsite to allow you to leave her messages of encouragement.
