High School Field Trip

The 10th grade Roosevelt H.S. (Boyle Heights/East Los Angeles) team would like to give students an opportunity to travel to Madison, Wisconsin in order to participate in a conference titled White Privilege Conference.  In this conference, the students will have an opportunity to analyze the themes of race, class, gender, sexuality, and ableism and all of the privileges that come with them.  Furthermore, students will be able to network with college professors, politicians, professionals, and other high school students.  This conference will give an opportunity to those students who are unable to travel outside of the U.S. to travel within and participate in learning activities that will change their life and perspective.
