Rocky The Mini - Medical Bills

Hello, My name is Rocky. I am 32" tall, a double registered Miniature Horse who loves poptarts.

I was born on the 4th of July in 2002 to a beautiful pinto mare the owner's called Wings. She died in 2004 from a collapsed trachea. Now, at 12 years old, I am on the verge of the same fate.

I began showing sympoms when I was 4 years old, but was perscriped medicine and put on special supplements. I had to also have special housing instructions that were limited to an outside stall, having my stall watered daily, soaking my hay, and limiting exercise. Those special requirements helped me maintain my breathing problems at a controllable level.

I attend schools, birthday parties, and stores regularly. I am a great therapy horse at Head to Toe therapy clinic and the VA in Phoenix. I love wearing my tennis shoes, going on car rides, and competing in horse shows. I love to do obstacles and jumping, but my breathing has held me back. I was even trained to drive, but had to stop because having a head set made breathing impossible. 

Right now, I am looking out for my yearling Azteca baby. He is very playful and loves to play tag, but I just can't keep up. I want to get out and run and play, but my mom said it is best if I stay in my stall. 

Right now, I am looking to have a procedure done where I can have a stent put in my trachea to prevent it from collapsing. This will allow me to run, play, jump, and do my tricks at the nursing homes. Unfortunately, my mom doesn't have the funds needed to help me. She works three jobs to support me and my big horse brother, and she is going to school. Although asking for help is hard, she knows that this is a life or death situation that needs to be taken care of as soon as possible. She tells me all the time I saved her. I have had her tears braided in my mane many times and have offered my sweet, soft nose to many kisses. 

I would do anything to live my full life, and help my girl as much as I can. I can't bare to think I might not be there for her when she needs me most.

Please help me be able to get a life-changing surgery and the ability to continue to give, not only to my girl, but to all the people I bring joy to.
