We had closed this for donations because a miracle had happened. I had the shocking surprise of a positive pregnancy test. Bryan and I were so thrilled and donated the money raised to another family who is undergoing IVF treatment. I miscarried on May 17th,2014 . It was a devestating blow for us both. We are going to try again and appreciate all the love and support everyone has given us.
Bryan and I have been married for 12 years. Bryan has been in the United States Air Force for 17 years and we are stationed at RAF Lakenheath, UK. Our military health coverage does not cover any of the bills we incurr from IVF Treatment.
I have a thyroid disorder which has been linked to fertility issues. We have been through countless tests, hours of hoping and praying just for it to end the same every single month with no baby. We are on month 57 of trying to conceive.
This is our one chance at having a baby.We had planned on starting the procedure in June but due to recent events we will not be doing this until December. We do not like asking others for help as we prefer to be the ones giving that helping hand.Thank you for your donations and shares. Please continue to share this page so we can get the word out.
Infertility is not often talked about in society and some do not even know what In Vitro Fertilization is. We went through lots of tests for over one year hoping for an answer. We figured we will find out what is wrong and then we can fix it! Sadly every test came back normal and we got that 5% diagnosis of undiagnosed infertility. This is hard to take because now you know that everything is supposedly working as intended except the having a baby part.
My husband and I have given to numerous charities and believe in helping others anytime we can so we pray that others will not mind helping us out. Please know that even $1 will help us toward our goal. If we raise more then we need to cover the medication the money will be donated to another military family in need needing it for the same reason.
