Carlie and Company, LLC Food Trailer

I'm Carlie of Carlie and Company. I recently competed on a Food Network show entitled Food Court Wars with my partner of 4 years, Briana Shidell. We had a great experience and learned a lot from it, but unfortunately we did not win the big prize of a rent free space in a mall for a year. So, rather than go home with our tails between our legs; we're doing what we can to make our dream a reality. We've been scouting out good used equipment and food trailers since our taping. All we need now is the support of people who believe in us and want us to succeed. I've been in the restaurant business for 15 years. I've been a hostess, server, bartender, cook, supervisor, manager and even an owner. But never doing exactly what I wanted to do on my own terms. I enjoy making great tasting food for people that they can feel good about eating. We would love to be able to bring that to a bigger range of people. Briana and I would love to be working at summer festivals and events and also catering parties. To fulfill this fund would be the opportunity we need to make Carlie and Company a reality. We've both always been the ones to help others succeed and find it difficult to ask for help in this way. But after supporters have offered money and encouraged us to set up a fund we're taking that step. We look forward to bringing great tasting health conscious homemade food to as many people as we can. We're really excited, today (2/28) we just received confirmation of acceptance to 8 local events over the summer and now have to manifest the means to be able to create our food. Let's make this happen!
