Medical Bills (Melodie and Rick)

Dear Friends,
Many of you have recently become aware of my family's enduring medical issues.  Grandpa Rick is currently beginning a new stage of cancer treatment.  Stem cells will be used (from his own body, because science!) to help combat the cancer cells in his bones.

This treatment is expensive, of course, but the other costs associated with it are the most difficult.  Not only will Rick be unable to work, but my mother's ability to work will also be impaired due to doctor's appointments, etc.  He will need to be on a special diet, unable to leave the house or see his grandchildren (because they are germy).

Of course any good juju you send their way would be wonderful, but let's be frank...money is in short supply and the bills are not.

Please help however you can, even a small amount will add up fast.  I urge you to make coffee at home once this week and give to a cause that you can be sure is a good one.
