2014 is the year of Dual Completion, 7 being the number of completion and 14 (twice 7 or the double completion) presents an opportunity for both natural and spiritual completeness. I believe 2014 to be the year of vast opportunity. I also believe it is a season of extended favor and immeasurable grace, a catalyst year for a Pre-Sabbath gathering both spiritually and naturally. To that end we must see by faith and diligently seek God for wisdom to positively impact our community. We must look beyond our resources by faith and believe God for the manifestation of promises ordained 20 years ago at the inception of Divine Grace Ministries Church. In 2007 Divine Grace Ministries Church building and vehicles debt were retired. All equipment and properties of the ministries and many upgrades to the building have been completed debt free. The cost of day to day operations and expense remain a challenge largely due to the economical challenges of the county and greater Flint area. At a time when people of this area are experiencing these challenges we at Divine Grace Ministries see a tremendous opportunity to serve. We have a history of services and community outreach. The FBI reports that this area has been characterized as leading the Nation in violent crime. National magazines have report this area as Flints most dangerous square mile in the city. We believe that "where sin abounded, grace abounded much more" (Romans 5:20). So we embrace the opportunity. We believe now is the time of bold new initiative and this is the "high time season" for bold new action. March represents the kick off month for our capital campaign for the community service center. The CSC is a proposed Building to facilitate services in the greater flint area to empower people to overcome the day to day challenges spiritually and naturally. We don't believe in building a building to gain people, but we believe in building people to gain kingdom building momentum. We understand that facilities are an essential part of that task. The CSC (Community Service Center) represents an extended opportunity to provide holistic ministries and service to the general community as well as the Kingdom of God at large. The projected provision application included the following components; health, general education, recreation, food service, seasonal warming center, general social services as well as spiritual education and edification. A transitional housing opportunity in an adjacent property completes the objective. Our projected cost is between 450-500 thousand dollars. This includes land acquisition and preparation to the adjacent property of the current property of Divine Grace Ministries Church. The building would be a modest practical facility with multiple use application. Our objective is to continue a debt free building and equipment position. To that end, we are seeking donations from our partners, supporters, friends, well wishers, and those that feel lead to join us. DGM is a non-profit ecclesiastical church corporation established in the state of Michigan in 1994. Divine Grace Ministries' church is a 501C3 tax-exempt organization as designated by the I.R.S. All donations are tax exempt eligible. We are soliciting your prayers as well as funding. We understand that prayer is essential to the success of this campaign as well.
